Question about Marshal.

So he spent about 15 minutes at my house just now. He kept saying he wanted to see the rest of my house, but wouldn't follow me to other rooms when I left the main room. Is that just a smug villager thing, because none of my other villagers do that (and he's my only smug). I know they don't follow you to other rooms when they surprise you with a visit, but he asked to come over.

Are you fully in the room sometimes if you stand at the door they won't enter right away.

I stood in the middle of each of the rooms I tried to get him to go into and waited 5 seconds or so, but he just stayed put xD

He asked me to visit when I talked to him outside, and we headed straight to my house.

Yeah,I think that's a glitch of some kind.Somebody on Gamefaqs had the same problem with Joey.Here's a link to that:

I know that when villagers visit randomly they just stay in the main room but If they ask to visit or schedule a visit they always follow your character around from room to room.It seems to be a fairly common thing because a couple of other players commented on that Gamefaqs thread and said that they had the same problem with other villagers of different personalities.

Genji wanted to go to my house so I let him and I usually wait for them to leave because I don't want to be rude but he never left.
So I just left.

Happened a few times with me, I think it just sort of happens sometimes. Or he was just being uncooperative.
