Question about holding a villager that's already in boxes! Help!

So I'm holding a villager for someone.

They are already in boxes and unfortunately the person isn't online. :/ It's very late here.
It's 8/31 1:02AM in my cycling town, and the villager is still here in boxes.

If I TT to 8/30 8AM will the villager be gone or still in boxes?

I don't want to accidentally void the villager :/

But at the same time, I can't wake up at 1AM in the morning just to change the time to have this villager stay in boxes.

I know for sure that at 8/31 6AM the villager will be gone.

Can someone please answer? ;~;

They'll still be in boxes. As long as you don't cross 6AM front or backwards. I had to hold a villager like this for days once.

Huh.. I really don't know ;-; You could try it I guess. But then you might lose the villager :-/

You might just have to give them to someone else or void them. (Sorry I'm not much help XD )

Good luck though! Maybe the person will come online soon? Who knows
