has anyone tested to confirm if buying the hhp dlc on one switch profile will give access to its contents for all profiles on the switch or if it only gives access to the profile that purchased it?

Gives access for all profiles! I have a secondary profile with no Nintendo account or anything and she was immediately contacted by Nook to go meet Lottie!

I was able to go to HHP on a secondary character (another profile on my Switch.) I don't have online or anything with that character.
It seems you start over and get your own save file there for HHP. I turned the game off when I saw Eloise walk in.

Yes I'm so happy it's a whole new save file!! I appreciate that on Nintendo's part because that means that we can add even more overall. The amount of plots seem really generous until you are actually trying to choose who to build a house for and who not haha! So for people who have multiple profiles on their islands for themselves then this could definitely give an opportunity to double the number of houses they build.
