Question about campsite

Ok so I am considering getting the campsite work and I was wondering. After it is built it looks like how it does in the picture and then will a random villager come and change that space into a tent and stay there for a little bit of Time? If so how long do they stay? And is it just summer ? Or all year?

Yes, they will only stay for a day. It's year-round though it won't always be inhabited. In the winter, igloos appear instead of tents.
