question about amiibo!

so I just got the chelsea amiibo card and rushed to move her into my town, but now I'm not being given an option to invite her to the RV campgrounds ;;-;; am I doing something wrong or is this as intended?​

yes! I did that and once she was at my campgrounds, I invited her to move into my town, fast forward a couple days, she's finally out of boxes but I'm still not getting the option to bring her to my campgrounds now ;;____;;
