Once the pumpkins grow and mature, will they continue to grow as the same color as they initially grew as? Or will the colors be randomized with each regrowing?

Darn, I only planted 15, thinking I'd just keep harvesting from that patch until I got the colors I wanted. I'll wait and see what I get first, and plant more if needed.

I think whatever color it is, that's what it remains however if you have greenpumpkins, I believe you can plant them to grow more green pumpkin patches.

The good news is- if you have extras of, say, orange pumpkins you can dig 'em up and get rid of them. Then you can plant any you need more of, and they'll grow into the "correct" color plant. That's what I did- it allowed me to organize my colors to be in specific locations, too, which is convenient!

I have some pumpkin questions.

If you dig up a pumpkin sprout, does it show the correct color in your inventory? I dug up a couple today, and they were all orange in my inventory. But maybe they don't show their true color when they're an inventory item. Or maybe their color doesn't show until they've made pumpkins, since I dug these up immediately after planting them because I planted them in the wrong spot.

If you start moving around pumpkin plants that have produced pumpkins of whatever color, will they stay that color if you replant them?

It only mentions the color once it’s ready for picking otherwise they all show up as orange. Once it’s the specified color you can replant them and they will stay the same color.
