proposal time: Would you like to celebrate a pre-halloween little ACNH party ?

Hey there !!

I was thinking that maybe we could celebrate a halloween little pre-event all together in my island or if we are too many in multiple islands.
In case this would be a popular proposal we could discuss in here the activities and how to run it.

Same basic principles I guess we can all agree already:

- Island needs a spooky environment or at the very least the halloween spooky deco ( we could even, if many people want to host, see their islands and make votes )
- Host and guest need to either wear created contend halloween costumes or in game halloween costumes

We could have activities such as;

-Host a halloween costume contest which could be monitored via voting system or judges. There would be two different contest one for in game costume and another for created content.

-Spin the roulette with different range of prices.

-Have "fire works"

-Find the treasure ( host digs treasure and first to notify and be in spot gets the treasure )

We can decide of more activities for the pre halloween party all together in here .

If it is very popular we could even if everyone wanted just for this party make a discord group and talk there instead of writing through the console to make it more fluid.

To be honest in the case this is a popular proposal and its like, depending on its success i was thinking about making also a like xmas like invisible friend party, that would need a different organization but o well its just an idea.

I'd love to join please!!!! Tell me when are you planning on doing this, I'll be looking forward on this!

Hello everyone !!!


I am supper happy to hear that so many people find the idea cute, makes me super happy !

I will be doing different post over this week in order to establish some details of the event. I will write the following posts:

1- Pool with pre-halloween party with Discord or pre-halloween party without Discord --> this is important in order to see how many islands we need in order to divide people accordingly.

2- Pool about day, time and time zone !

After the first and second pool I will ask for those who would like to host --> People who would like to post we will write me DMs so we can all discuss activities and flow of event

Last step will be to send in ACNH a Pre-halloween Invite

Halloween isn’t entirely a US thing. It was based off of a pagan Celtic holiday known as “Samhain” from Scotland and Ireland. The reason why it got big in the US was due to the large amount of Irish Immigrants that lived in US in the past. Although it is super important to note that the two holidays are not the same at all, but they are related to each other.

We still carve turnips in Ireland. There a lot harder to carve that pumpkins that's for sure.
