Pronouncing villager names in the megaphone

Ricky asked me to deliver a present to Phoebe, but she wasn't at home. I used the megaphone to call her pronouncing her name as "Fee-bee" and got Phineas to answer instead. I never could get Phoebe to answer no matter what pronunciation I used, so I did an internet search. She answers to "Foe"..? So now I know, I guess, and maybe this post helps someone XD

Any other names you all know of that are pronounced differently than they look?

I know from my own excperience that the megaphone is quite hard to use so I've tended to just finding them and then sometimes trying the megaphone I think I'm getting better but whenever a new villager moves in that I havent had before I have trouble

my pronunciation is so off, so I type in the name in Google translate & let her say it into the mic & it works amazing LOL

lobo answers for lopez and lopez anwers to lobo. its quite... annoying LMAO
marshal is easy, so is paula but bluebear answers to ben?? thats so freakin weird lmao, i hate having villagers with similar sounding names as i use the microphone a LOT.

Molly, Marshal, Fang, Grizzly, Kid Cat and Beau respond easily. I have a little bit of a problem with Shari, though....

Just pronounce it as monotoned as possible and it usually accepts it.
