Printing in game letters

I thought it would be a fun idea to print up some of the letters from my villagers into real life! However I just realized that the letters appear on the bottom screen where I can't screenshot, is there some way around this? Thank you!

Maybe you could find a picture of the stationary they used, print it out, and fill the letter in yourself. That or add the text digitally.
If you write it yourself you could make up their handwriting, though!

for the stationary, I do remember jeremy using some good quality animal crossing stationary for the bell tree fair prize packs

so maybe you could pester him about where he got them, if they still make (provided he didn't just print out himself, idk)

I don't know about any way around it just using the 3DS screenshot feature. There might be a way, I just don't know of one. That said, aside from Kimurni's suggestion and what LambdaDelta mentioned, you might also be able to use something else with a camera (cell phone, tablet, etc.) and take a picture of the letter. It would be of lesser quality, but it's something.

Another option that comes to mind is playing on a 3DS that has been worked on to allow gameplay to be recorded the same way that YouTube and Twitch Let's Players use to capture their footage for videos, but that idea is not only expensive but also time consuming and probably impractical.

I think Capture Cards allow you to take pics of the bottom screen, and in other games that don't have a camera option, like WW. I have no idea as to how they work, since I don't have one.
