I remember on TBT1.0 someone (forgot who) was arguing with me that education in America is not that bad. Anyway, this was on Reddit today, so I thought I'd post it.
Okaaay. Wth does a teacher on a gaming forum?
Yep I personally think that parents who lack a role in their kids life create unruly abominations that aspire to be fry cooks... Nothing wrong with being a fry cook but I don't think it should be what you aspire to do, at least do something in your spare time, like write, or paint, or something!
This rule is of course not always true, but kids who don't have a role model to imitate, will tend to imitate stupidity, partially cause they are never told not to.
This is not always true. Sometimes, kids learn to imitate something that isn't there when surrounded by stupidity. My mom is a great example. Her immediate family (i.e., mom + dad + sibling) are beyond description, and yet, she knew that their behavior was the opposite of model behavior. I guess some children have an innate understanding of these things. This rule is of course not always true, but kids who don't have a role model to imitate, will tend to imitate stupidity, partially cause they are never told not to.
we really don't need another one of those abortion topics, do we?.. no.. we don't..A good chunk of parents are mentally deficient and are not fit to have children. They dump them into ruthless, intellectually-barren social circles in the hope that somebody else will "take care of them". Guess what, idiots, feeding the kid isn't your only responsibility. If you're not educated enough to a) provide a solid education for the child at home or b) have no interest in seeing your child become a well-rounded citizen, then you shouldn't have children. Simple as that.

you said they shouldn't have children if they couldn't raise them.Eh? I don't get it...
This is the dark side of American Pop Culture.
Or is it all dark?
