Postal service losing your packages and letters, did it already happen to you?

lost a discontinued rare 3ds in the mail, never got the package and never got a refund for the 400 dollars I saved up for

My Japanese Tomodachi Life game guide, it never arrived. I wanted it as an collectors item.
Oh well.

Yeah, I used to order a lot of merch back in 2010 and they lost a few things. There was a lot of talk about a metaphorical “Chicago black hole” because so many parcels got lost there, and I know two or three of my own were because I could track them. One or two others, I don’t remember where they were lost, plus I’m sure something I ordered from the UK was lost. Kind of shocking, back then Royal Mail was probably the best international postage you could get for its price.

These days… doesn’t happen, but I really don’t order much.
