Post your tips for earning different badges.

I'm 3 badges away from having all the badges on my mayor in Glendale so I thought this might be a nice thread to start c:

To earn the furniture customization badges, keep one piece of furniture in Retail, and customize it over and over again. I like to use an hourglass because you can only customize one thing on it (the sand color) and it only costs 48 bells.

I've earned quite a few badges recently, but I've just been playing as normal. I've been customising furniture at Retail as and when I need to, and just playing the game without trying to complete everything super fast. It feels more rewarding that way, at least to me. I think a lot of the badges come with time, and simply doing little tasks every day and building up to them, which is nice.

I've had my town for over two and a half years, so the badges I've earned have definitely come with time :3 I really like earning badges, and now that I've taken my time on one character, I plan to earn them a little faster on my other three.

Oh, that's a great tip about the customisation badge, I never even thought of that (doh). Been taking me she's to even get the bronze for it so I'm going to give your suggestion a go a bit later. It's one of the few I haven't managed to get. I am struggling with the street pass, I've got the bronze one now but I'm thinking that will just be a time thing. And I'm working on the balloon hunter....I keep forgetting to bring my slingshot out with me

I'm trying to get K.K. Slider badges and like... I've listened to SO many of his songs during his open mic night and...no badge!!! I feel like I've listened to more than 10 at this point. what am I doing wrong???

I think you have to listen to 20 to get the first badge?

I'm definitely gonna give the customizing one a go since I just literally bought a hourglass at retail go me lol

I earned the silver streetpass badge in one day by going to a gaming convention xD If there's one near you that you're interested in going to, I recommend you bring your DS.

Also, to earn the balloon badges, just make the slingshot part of your regular set of items, or pick a spot in town to put the tools you don't use very often. For a while, I kept my axe, slingshot and shovel behind Retail so I had them if I needed them, but didn't have to carry them around (and they weren't visible, which is nice because I like my town to look really clean).

I hated getting that one :U I just spam chatted K.K. Slider, let him pick the song, and watched Adventure Time while the credits were rolling.

I sat with DS on my knee each Saturday night and just did one after the other until I got bored.I have my gold now. I customised a cardboard box to get my badge.
