I thought this would be a pretty cool idea for a thread, and helpful for making those lesser tier villagers look better! I've been experimenting a lot with my animals and their clothes, after I found this guide on how to choose them for yourself.

Here's my best results so far, with more to come.


Annalise wearing a grape tee. I think this suits her really well.


Julian wearing a QR code I downloaded. He looks like part of a planes cabin crew. xD


Gladys wearing a downloaded QR code of a Sailor Saturn outfit that I edited slightly.
It's hard to see in the image but it really suits her, especially the bow at the back.


Shari wearing a coat and scarf QR code I downloaded.

Note that I downloaded the QR codes in these images a while back, so I can't recall off hand where I got them.
I'll try and locate them again though if requested, or you can come visit and grab them.

Haha yeah Julian suits a lot of clothes.

He changed into my scarf and coat today, looking awesome.
Hmm maybe I should change that scarf to white or blue to match him. Dang lack of space at Ables!

omg, thank you for this! I never knew there was a guide for this, and i've been meaning to change my villagers' clothes. Definitely will be dressing Ruby in a sailor tee.

No worries! I've found the method doesn't work 100% of the time but you might be more lucky.

I gave Tabby the beaded tank and I thought it looked pretty snazzy on her.You can kinda tell she's a girl with that outfit on.


I was shocked when Goose put the pleather vest on when I gave it to him for his birthday.I have a hard time getting some villagers to wear the Gracie stuff for some reason.He doesn't look as cool as Eugene or Kyle but it ain't bad.


My mayor never wore her HHA jacket so it was given to Octavian.It makes him look like some sort of real estate agent for sea creatures.

I love Sailor Moon. At least the outfit looks like Sailor Saturn from Sailor Moon. This is a pretty cool thread, I never really care for what my villagers wear....Hopefully I can come up with something and post it here

Just found the QR code for the Sailor Saturn outfit in my pics.

If you want animals to wear it you'll have to edit it to be just a shirt. I've read they wear dresses too but mine never touch my dress designs.

Yay, Kitt has started wearing the coat and scarf too. It's becoming quite a fad in my town lol.
