Anyone else finding it kind of lacking? I really enjoyed the main story/quest but now that it's over I'm having trouble finding things to do. What are your favorite things to do now that you've finished the main storyline? I could use some ideas as I'd really like to pick up the game again :)
 
competitive training/battling is all i do and i play ppp much every day.
right now im trying to complete my pokedex so i can get the shiny charm
 
Have you did the Lookers storyline?

I thought the story was pretty short. In contrast to soul silver and pearl versions, I feel like the new ones are rather quick to finish :/
 
I'm working on my pokedex, so far I've got 400 pokemon total ;]
I think there are 800+ overall so it can be fun if you have friends to battle and trade with.
i finished the game in 2 days, i agree that it could of been longer, maybe they could mix all the regions together so you'd have to complete all of them.

I thought their was only 718 pokemon?

that'd leave me almost 100 less pokemon to discover, the more the better.
 
I was letdown when I realized there wasn't much of a post-game. But I spent most of the time completing my Dex and battling randoms and just trying to beat the Battle Maison(it's so hard for me).
 
I wish we could fight Lysandre after we finish the game ;-;
 
I thought there wasn't that much to do post-game. I just go shiny hunting/breeding now. I also do iv breeding for giveaways on twitter :3 The good thing is that we can update this game so they can add anything new into the game if they ever decide to.
 
I've started to breed a more competitive team, since that's something I've never really tried before. Usually, I just stuck to playing the main game and trying to collect as many Pokemon as I could. With online being so much easier now, though, I feel like I can try more things out. Also going around looking for any items/areas I may have missed on the first go, since I tend to bulldoze through my first play-throughs, when I can.

I feel the same. That's why I completed my Pokedex... then went shiny hunting. Though that's more tedious than fun.
 
You guys keep throwing around the term "post-game." X and Y had about as much post-game content as Ruby and Sapphire - there isn't any.

My friend talked about this a few days ago, but this means you'd have to collect 54 badges and defeat the Elite Four 6 times.
