We all know that apachure science and black Mesa were competing against each other and thus created the games half life and portal. In portal 2 chell is sent to the outside world where half life is occurring. I think valve should combine portal and half life for a third game. (I've never played half life just portal and portal 2)

Well, I've actually created my own series of stories based upon both the Half-Life and Portal series, so I've done a lot of research into the connectivity between Half-Life and Portal, and I've played around with a lot of the different theories surrounding them, and judging from all that has been revealed officially, Gordon Freeman was to travel to the Borealis, most likely alongside Alyx Vance, and attempt to either destroy what was on the ship, or destroy the ship completely. Without saying too much about what I myself think, having brought a lot of my own theories into my stories, I think there's something on the Borealis, developed by Aperture Science, which would be dangerous if discovered by the Combine, which I assume is what happened by the end of the last Half-Life game, leading to everyone wanting the ship, or whatever was on the ship, destroyed.

I'm pretty sure that they hinted that you will come across a stranded Aperture Science ship in a snowy area at some point in HL3. I saw this a year or two ago, though, so I no longer have the source...

It's APERTURE not apachure. XD
That said, some mixing some elements of the two would be fun for future games, but I don't think a full merge of the two storylines would work very well.

OMG I love this theory so much.
