Popular Villagers That you hate! (or dislike for the optimist)

I don't really hate any villager (in spite of naming some from my town that I hated in another thread), though there are a lot of villagers I dislike or think is a little overrated.

Tier Two:
~Pietro: Gtfo. To me, he's ugly, is creepy when he talks (and when he isn't talking) and I honestly don't like clowns.
~Julian: I like the idea of having unicorns in the game, but I don't care about the color that Julian is and I'm not a fan of smugs.
~Chrissy/Francine: I don't like how their eyes look or their colors. Too "cutesie" for me.
~Genji: When I met him in someone's dream town, I thought he seemed pretty cool, though I honestly don't like the pink cheeks and don't think he's cute or anything.

Tier 1:
~Beau: I just met him for the first time and I honestly don't think he's as cute as Erik. I think I'm rather neutral about Beau--I don't hate or love him, like or dislike him.
~Marshal: I have Marshal and I like him, but I do think he's overrated; I wish he was a cranky instead of a smug. I honestly do like his pouty face. I wasn't planning on having him in my town, but when it came to being having a diverse town or a heavily peppy town (since a lot of my favorites are peppy/lazy/cranky), I went with diverse and I had to pick one smug and he was the only one that appealed to me.
~Fauna: I don't really like her design; her eyes look a little weird. Idk, I think fawns are cuter than she looks like to me.

Personally, I have not met a wolf that left a deep impression on me ~ both in a positive or negative way; maybe it's because I'm more of a cat person than wolf/dog person? lol

i don't...really get the hype around marshal? i mean sure he's cute, but there are also a lot of other cute underloved smug villagers.

I dislike Fuchsia purely on the basis of her design. Hot pink, yellow, and blue don't sit well with me when they're grouped together. It's a shame really, because I have a soft spot for the Uchi villagers.

A lot of the Uchi villagers got really bad/weird designs. The only two I like are Shari and Phoebe. Shari because she's a cute little monkey and Phoebe because she resembles a phoenix, and I'm totally cool with that. But the rest are just...ew. I don't even like the Uchi cat. I don't mind weirder designs but I wish we had a more diverse Uchi pool. I feel like it was the reject pile ><

Also gotta add wow, poor Pietro lol. I didn't realize he got so much hate. I mean clowns scare me too but his house is so fun! And he always struck me as kinda cute. But daaaang poor guy.

I love Lobo. Wolfgang moved in as my 9th and I allowed it because I like his name.
Months later he'd just never ever pinged to move, and someone on Gamefaqs was offering 30m for him.
So I finally started cycling and when he FINALLY pinged to move a full day after starting (and I'm not a bad cycler), he REFUSED to move!
I'd never had that happen before and didn't realize I could reset. I was so beyond baffled and I am convinced the animals can hear you through the 3DS mic because when he pinged me I CHEERED and then he went and...disrespected me like that ><

To top it off he did it AGAIN at 2AM in the morning, which caused a very angsty growly scream that caused my boyfriend to wake up worried I'd hurt myself.

I finally got him out a few cycles later when I remembered that resetting is a thing. By that time, the buyer had bought another Wolfgang. So I offered him for free. NOBODY took him.

At least his plot became Lolly's. That plot is right next to me and she's a great neighbor. She likes to tell me if people are moving a lot so she's a wonderful failsafe.

Yeah sorry, there's my Wolfgang rant lol. I'll just never forgive him =w=

Oh man. Lol the funny thing is that you coulda EASILY avoided this problem by doing the following:
When a villager asks to move and then refuses, IMMEDIATELY turn off the game without saving so that when you come back the same villager will ping u again giving u another chance. It's what I always do

I know that now. It's just I'd cycled so many times in the past and none of my villagers ever pulled that with me. Ever. The kicker is that Wolfgang loved me enough to leave his picture after departing! I always assumed they only did the move refusal when you weren't friendly enough with them, but I guess that's another misconception.

Luckily when Julian pulled that I knew better and reset on him xD

Maple is another, which is odd cuz she was on my dreamie list before and I don't really understand why. She has a cute, but average, bear design. Just average though.

@Akimari: I'm actually super neutral with Maple. She was in my first town and she just never left the hugest impression on me. She's cute, but...I think she is definitely kinda overrated.

Beau is probably one of my least favorite, and IMO most boring of all the characters. And I actually really like the deer villagers.

Not really a fan of the octopi either. I guess I would like them more if there were more aquatic villagers. They're interesting and unique to be sure, but they just don't seem to fit.

I don't really get they hype up for Ankha. Her theme is pretty cool, but I dunno, her face? I don't think she'd look good with a happy face though, I don't know.

And Julian is awesome, but why those eyes? They look so weird! He'd be an amazing villager if they'd just fix his eyes!

Oh, and the octopi, octopuses, whatever's. I get why they're popular, but they look meh to me. Those mouths are odd. They look like octopus mouth and I'm not saying they should fix them but they just creep me out.

Hmm, I actually started off with Whitney as one of my main villagers and she was so stuck up so I didn't get to actually like her for quite a long time. Her eyes are gorgeous, though. She just got really upset when I forgot about meeting and my house once and I was like um, chill haha. Once you get to know her though, she's a sweetheart. But, I don't see why she's so popular. I've never liked Octavian- I think it's because I had him in Wild World and he just scared me a ton. I thought he was super interesting, though. Kabuki, in my opinion, looks like a bad children's drawing. He's even scarier-looking than Octavian. I mean, I can totally understand if people are into those types- everyone has preferences. I just personally prefer the cute types and some unique ones, as well. I don't really get Lucky, either, but to each their own!

Just why? His design is so plain. I only like his name because of The Book Thief, but everything else about him is just meh.
Same thing with Mitzi. She's not even cute, in my opinion.
