I'm way late on my response here, but no, you're right, it shouldn't affect the RMP. The problem is I think it already has...someone on my popsicle thread offered me one but wanted more than 2k, which is (I think) the highest end of the price range for those. And I'm 99.8% sure I've seen someone else wanting closer to 4k for them as well.
Which doesn't necessarily mean anything, as it's only been a few instances, but I think if those selling popsicles start only selling them through auctions, the RMP for them will definitely shoot up fast. :c

And hmm okay yeah, I don't think it should affect the RMP either. Tbh I don't think that auction prices should count because they can go over the RMP, like not all the time but sometimes it happens (like this auction here). Like usually normal sales don't go beyond the RMP so yeah, especially if there are crazy buyouts that are a thusly reached, I don't believe it should count as an RMP. (Sorry for rambling lol).
And okay ty for bidding, I'll change the OP now.

I'm glad you agree c': It's just been something I've been thinking about a lot since I decided I wanted a popsicle, it's so tough to find one that the last thing I wanna do is pay double its worth XD

Oh gosh yeah it must be, I've seen a few threads now (including yours) that have had no luck. I kind of felt bad for having two since I don't use my other one so I'm holding this auction to get some tbt for myself (saving up for some expensive collectibles) AND to help someone who wants a Popsicle (hitting two birds with one stone am I right? XD ). And ty! You're currently the highest bidder right now too. cx

Idk what the auction rules are, though I don't think I've seen people retract their bids before. >.<
