poll: your Christmas Tree: real or artificial?

We used to have real ones when I was really little, but now we use the same artificial one.

Artificial so you don't have to deal with the pines or the smell and you can just set it up again every year.

Real. Every year my family has the argument. My mom has always wanted a fake tree. When my dad lived with us, he and I would gang up against her and get a real one. Now it's my stepdad and me ganging up against her. You just can't beat a real tree. The feel and smell are just... way better. And you don't have to build it, like you build a fake tree. Unboxing and setting up and taking it down and dismantling it and putting it away.

Nah, I'll take a real tree every year

Artificial, less messy and cheaper in the long run. My boyfriend always used to have a real one at his dad's as they had wooden floors so it was easy to clean up after but this year as he is renting away from his dad's we are getting an artificial one since it is cheaper.

I live in the northwest so it's really cheap and easy to get a real tree here, which is what I usually do, but this year I might not have a tree at all. I kind of want to get a fake one because of spider issues in real trees, but they are expensive.

We used to do real trees when I was a kid but for the past seven years or so, it has been a fake tree because my grandpa gave it to us. Even though I miss the smell of pine, this fake tree is much better to work with and looks real!

I have an artifical tree, it's a triangle on top, middle is a circle and the bottom is a square. I guess it's kind of handy to have for every year Christmas holidays though I've always wanted a real big christmas tree to hang all my ornaments, the one I have is all cramped and squished together looking all cluttered with my decorations xD

I used to have an artificial one, but artificial trees kinda get ratty looking when they're too old. I currently don't have, nor plan to get, one.

I don't like real ones, because I feel like that's really wasteful to chop down a tree so it can sit in your house for a few weeks or a month.
