Heyo. So I've been getting back into new horizons thankfully. And because of that I have to do a TON gardening. Specially removing excess flowers from my island. Which is really annoying. But that got me an idea... Would other people pay for a service to have someone remove weeds or flowers that are on your island just taking up space? Like depending on how large the area is. You could bill more or less.

I dunno. I might do this if it gets popular enough. But give me some ideas for prices if you can.

oh btw I set the poll to multiple answers. In case if someone wants to vote yes for both tbt funds or bells

guess not. Top vote was nope. Thats fine then. I'm not normally active around anymore anyway XD

I would do this for a good amount of bells. If there was like 200+ flowers, I'd say 300k bells and I'd do it. Honestly, I can't stand the turnip stalk market

I would consider paying someone to dispose of flowers. Right now I don't have funds to do so, however. I accidentally deleted my primary save file on my old Switch so I'm starting over. Not a lot of bells or flowers yet.

It's not that it's not a bad idea. During NH's activity boom this service would've sold well. But the game is very inactive now with only a few who are still actively playing or sporadically. Those who still play probably have their island already completed and have a system in place to keep flowers from growing wild.

While I wouldn't pay for the service since I have barriers and invisible qr paths to keep the flowers in check, had my main island got as out of control as my alt I probably would've taken up on this offer so I didn't have to bother with it. It's especially useful in NH because the shovel breaks, you got to repair it. You get too much flowers in your space you got to dispose of them. I miss just being able to pluck or trample them out of existence like NL sometimes.

I would love to help someone also, I'd probably work for 50k bells if it isn't too many flowers but 100k would be average and it goes up depending on how long it takes me after that i kinda find it relaxing, trash can does not have to be provided

If I had the free time I would do it for a affordable amount of tbt or free… cleaning up flowers and weeds is kind of fun for me idk why XD

Personally, I would hire someone to dispose of all my flowers if I had the bells! My entire island is covered in them and it makes me want to reset...I guess I could just get a friend and bribe them with snacks to do it. :p Every time I try my hand at flower cleanup, I get bored after a bit and stop playing.

I got a ton of roses that I'm working through so I don't have my entire island cover in roses. Like I'm breaking them down

I can't pay anyone to do it because i don't have a nintendo switch subscription

Actually. Once I get my town cleaned up. I'm prob gonna create a post and do it for said pricing. Now that we are getting a new update and a lot of players are gonna return.

Without a doubt. Disposing flowers in older games was simple and straight-forward enough that you didn't need a BREAKABLE shovel to entirely pull flowers from the ground (an over-correcting design choice). Flowers weren't immortal in those games, either (another absurd over-correction in this game).

I originally wanted to go on yet another rant about New Horizons' quite frankly, lopsided design philosophy and post some pictures to show how bad my flower situation was, but I already took care of most of the flowers I wanted to get rid of, and I'm already EXHAUSTED just thinking about it. I'm still a bit baffled how anyone could possibly say no to this when the developers made something trivial in previous installments into a convoluted, complicated process for no discernible reason. I hate having to make frequent visits to Harv's Island just to have Cyrus "repair" my shovel with the repainting exploit. Removing flowers from your island is tedious (and potentially time-time-consuming) work. I feel anyone who volunteers to help or even takes care of your problem for you should be compensated for. This game, and by extension, this franchise, really, REALLY frustrates the hell out of me.
