POLL: Is human cloning wrong?

I'm not for it, but not because it "goes against god's will" or anything I mean, heck, I go against god's will daily. But yeah, not for human cloning (or any other animal really), I can see some benefits and the possibility of great scientific advances, but still, no thanks.

I don't know. Honestly. There's gonna be both good and bad things that comes with it so I guess were just gonna have to wait and see because it's gonna happen. Oh yes.

I don't think it's right. So many things could go wrong. Also, it must be pretty freaky to be a clone.

I think it's a cool science, but I'm neither here nor there on it. People don't understand that a clone will never be the person they lost. Sure they may look like them, but they will never act or think like that person.

In case you don't like how I put "gods will", interpret it as humans playing God.

I'm honestly not sure. As someone said, there are probably going to be both cons AND pros to it, so we'll just have to wait and see.

I think it's awesome that science has come this far that they can manipulate cells to clone them but I don't think it should be taken as far as using it on humans. Like theres the issue with designing babies which parents can ultimately choose the genes their child will have; It's a good thing as it can stop babies being born with genetic diseases but I don't think its right to choose the gender or like eye colour of their babies. I don't know, I just don't see a good reason for people to be cloned.

i dont really see whats wrong with it, but theres really no need for it, millions of children are born everyday so its pointless to make more via cloning

Why is there option: "it's against gods will"?

There are a variety of other reasons for each of those choices.

I'm against it as there is already to many Human beings and tbh we should be getting rid of as many of us as possible, I don't give a **** about any fake deity.

when the "it's against god's will" option is winning by 4 votes.......ok

no cause humans are already overpopulated, I dont think we need more humans lol

I mean at the end if the main purpose is using the clones for medical research, if we treat them humans it would be against the human rights so it's kind of dumb

Yes I know I cant explain myself

Tbh if people are actually upset about making the option saying "gods will" then I'll change it.

it's cool that they have the technology , but it's not okay to clone an entire person . it makes people easily disposable instead of individual , irreplaceable beings . on the other hand , the technology would be very beneficial to health science and science in general . overall , it depends on how somebody decides to use the information and how easily accessible it would be

I wouldn't say I'm upset about it, but it doesn't accurately reflect why I'm against it. I don't believe in any gods. IMO, you should just have "yes" or "no" as your options and not make assumptions about why people are voting either way. :)

don't think it's right, there isn't much else to say about it. it isn't made naturally, it's made in a lab. maybe in the future it'll be right, but as of now cloning has pretty ugly results (rip mr. goat ;;)
