poll: have you ever been ice skating?

went ice skating tonight for first time in ages. only fell once, and didn't knock anybody else over!

I went once years ago and fractured my tailbone which sucked.
I went a few months back and didn't fall once. I clung to the sides.

Yes, many times, but that was when I was a kid. I would borrow skates from my cousin and skate almost all winter. I was a pretty good skater.

Last year, I bought me and my daughter brand new skates. We headed to a small town that has an outdoor rink. The skates hurt my feet so much. I would get these horrible cramps in them. I fell down once, but my poor daughter had a horrible time. She fell so hard that it knocked out her breath. She started crying, so we had to leave. I was just starting to get the hang of it and would love to go back, but my daughter has decided that she hates ice skating.

yes, several times every year. we do it in gym class and my family does it a lot, byt eith my family we usually skate on a lake instead of in a rink.
this year it'll be hard to go ice skating on any lake because it is really hot outside smh

I'd love to go more. I go with my boyfriend and meet up with Wholockian a couple times a year at our local rink, because it's halfway between where we live.

I hate ice skating. The one time I did it was painful. Rollerskating on the other hand I enjoy greatly.

I went skating like 5 times in grade 3 as a school trip but I didn't know how to skate so I pretty much just stood there.

But rollerskating is fine for some reason.

Yeah I've been ice skating before. It was a fun time when I got it down but before I did I fell on my nalgas around 10 times. It's a good thing that they're big and meaty, though. That really helped cushion the falls.

I have never gone ice skating before. I don't think there are any ice rinks that is near where I live, but I'm sure there is one in my state. I guess I would be excited to ice skate, but I have a weird scary feeling that I'll hurt myself and that the ice is gonna crack and I'll fall in it... but ice skating seems fun to do, besides the fact that I'm scared to.

Yes, I've been ice skating a few times but I don't go often. It's fun, though! I get a little worried though in case I end up falling over, but generally I have quite good balance.

i've went ice skating twice. i think i was in third grade both times? the 2nd time tho, my brother came with, and he tried to race me and ended up falling on his back and started crying and that was the end of ice skating for my family.
hoping we can go again sometime though
