Title says it all!

I prefer handheld because I like to be near my computer where I look up guides, use my google drive ACNH "notebook", etc.
What's your preference?

I usually playing both but mostly dock. I only playing handheld before going sleep

switch lite owner, so always handheld. if i had a regular switch, i imagine it would still be exclusively handheld. the only tv in my room is my sister's, and the only other one i could use is in the lounge, mostly being used to watch tv by my parents. let's go to the city was fun enough on the tv, but it could be a pain in the backside because of that. (which is also why i haven't been able to go back and replay the game.) i'm glad i don't have to deal with it here, frankly. imo, ac has always felt better suited to handheld anyway.

I have a regular Switch, but play exclusively handheld. I've always preferred the privacy of playing on a smaller screen, and it also means I don't have to worry about hogging the TV. Honestly, the main reason I didn't get a Lite is because I didn't want to have to send in the entire console in case I needed Joycon repairs. ^^; I also like being able to look things up on my computer as I play (especially when it comes to the times bugs/fish/sea creatures appear, and things like that), and that's much easier to do if I'm already sitting by my desk.

I exclusively play all of my Switch games with the Switch nestled into the dock so I can play on the tv with the Pro Controller (though I use the GameCube controller for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate). They only times I ever used the JoyCons for anything was in the first month I owned the console. I have no interest in using the JoyCons because of their faulty design, and I don't want to go through the hassle of them developing drift and needing to be sent in to Nintendo for repairs even though the repair is free, so I just ignore them entirely. I prefer playing games on a bigger screen whenever possible; I love a bunch of games that are on handhelds and can enjoy playing on a handheld just fine, but as a matter of preference I'd opt for a tv or monitor if the option is there.

I thought a lot before finally getting the Lite. I knew I would be playing 90% on handheld so it’s was a better idea to get the lite. I usually have the TV on while playing. Also at the time we only had the one TV.

I only have a Switch Lite so it’s obviously handheld only for me and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

I have never played in anything but dock. Can’t imagine not experiencing this game via a giant TV screen

I am hoping to get an OLED soon, as I would like to try to play on my TV. Switch Lite is great and all, but sometimes the classic TV video game console is it’s own experience.

I nearly always play AC in handheld mode, usually I find it more convenient and I often watch TV while I’m playing the game. I think I’ve only played AC with my switch docked once or twice but found it hard to adjust to after using handheld exclusively for so long.

I have a Switch Lite, so it's always handheld.
I Love my Pokemon Switch Lite as i did not see the need to have a normal switch if i be playing handheld mode 75% of the time.

I wish i did the same thing as you on the normal switch. But i got a Switch Lite as i barly got the money for the system and the games. The colors won me over to get a lite. If they did not have it in stock i will got the normal switch and save up for the games. I Know about the Joy cons issue and i am use to sending my system in for repairs. Lucky A Air can BLowing out the stick seem to fix it"
