Police Station or Dream Suite

Ok! I'm about to start my next Public Works project!

Problem is..... I don't know what I should do next?

Should I do the Police Station next or the Dream Suite?

I'll have a poll but still comment on choices and reasoning please

The dream suit is pretty fun. You can visit others dream towns.

The police station is pretty boring, in my opinion. I have it in my first town. I wish I never put one in.

What do you think you'll use more often?

The dream suite is fun when you're bored, because you can visit other people's towns. There are towns that are about storytelling and exploring, and there are towns that are simply cool-looking and great for inspiration. It's a useful way to meet villagers that you haven't seen in the game yet. If you ever need feedback on your town, it's also a lot easier to post your DA.

The police station is just more useful for the Lost and Found feature and to make your town more complete. The Lost and Found means you can get random items (including things like the cardboard set) and if a villager plots on items on the ground, they'll show up there. If you don't have a lot of use for that, it's probably not a big priority, in my opinion.

I'd get the dream suite based on the reasons above, though it depends on what features you think you'll use more and what you'd like to have in your town first.

I say the Police Station, because I like to have my main buildings plotted down (so villagers don't screw up the placement). Also, I often leave things lying around, which makes the Lost and Found feature pretty valuable. You can also get sloppy or cardboard furniture from it randomly, just like ReTail.

The Dream Suite is cool and nice to have, I would just do the station first

I'm probably going to get the police station first because I don't use the dream suite very much, and I love Cooper (the dog at the police station), but I would get whatever you're going to use more.

I would probably build the Dream Suite first, because you can visit amazing dream towns, I spent so much time with dreaming c:
And you can get some inspiration for your own town. So the police station can wait maybe.

Well, do you know EXACTLY where you want the police station to go, and which station you want to use?

If you do, then I definitely say put the station down first so that way no random villagers can move into that spot... However, if you're still undecided, then go with the Dream Suite. That always goes in the same place on Main Street so placement wouldn't be an issue, and you won't have to decide whether you'd rather have Copper or Booker.

I choose the dream suite first! It's less expensive I think and you don't have to worry about plotting it in a wrong place as it's on Main Street! The dream suite is more fun and a cooler concept than the police station but you would probably eventually end up getting both! I love visiting the dream suite to get inspiration for my town c:

I would say Dream Suite first, mostly because I enjoy it more. It's also great if you aren't 100% sure of where you want your police-station to go as you can get inspiration and ideas from other towns

That one's easy! Dream Suite all the way, yo! It's so much more fun... whereas the police station is just a building with miscellaneous stuff inside (mainly pitfall seeds). Boooooring. You can actually have fun and interact in other town with the Dream Suits, and there are so many dream codes you can visit!

I'd go with the dream suite. So, you can entertain yourself, checking out dreams, while you build your police station...
I know you've already decided, but I thought that I would give my opinion, anyway.

Go with Dream Suite for 3 reasons. One, your 500 dreamer badge (will cost you 250,000 bells total). Second, you get 5,000 bells a day from it for updating (assuming it doesn't change the address). Three, anyone, and anytime a person can visit your town (most recent version you updated of it) without you having to be online at the same time, and can do whatever the want to it since it's just a dream. If nothing else, Isabelle only gets to sleep once a game, so you may as well give her the only request she'll ever make.

I would say police station. Although I haven't got it yet, I saw one in my mates town and it looked cool.

I personally don't visit many dream towns. It's a complete hit or miss - usually a miss, in my experience - to just randomly hop around; I was expecting to find some hidden gems out there but I just find plain old New Leaf towns. No theme or landscaping, no real incentive to visit in the first place (sorry if that sounds cruel! It's just that I figure when visiting a dream town, I want to be inspired, you know?)

So unless you have specific dream addresses you'd like to visit, I would go with the police station for that reason. Keep in mind I may just be unlucky when it comes to popping into random dream towns, but yeah. For me, having cute lil Booker (or Copper if you so choose) waiting for me and a place where lost items show up... that's more gratifying. I actually regret pouring so much cash into the dream suite now, considering my experiences with it. It's served no purpose for me at all, whereas with the Police Station I can speak with Booker and find little treasures waiting there for me
