Regarding the bug at Lumious City... They are gonna fix it.

Spoiler: Area's you shouldn't save

Please make sure you don?t save the game while in the areas marked on the map below (blue area). You can still save the game anywhere else in Lumiose City, including inside buildings such as Pok?mon Centers.

If you experience this issue they are preparing something to recover the save file

Interesting that it only gives info on an application to fix it for people who've experienced it, and not a way to fix the issue completely.

The only way to fix it completely is to have a call back on the games and everyone has to turn in their games while they fix it and re-release the game, and that would upset people and is absurd at the same time, so this is a much better solution.

To be more specific than this, you shouldn't save in an area next anything that doesn't take up a full "block" like a taxi of skiddo, and when you try o load it back up the game puts you in the middle of the block and therefore stuck inside whatever else is occupying it.
