Absolutely agree on this. The world feels so alive! I hope Animal Crossing takes some tips from this, because the Pokémon are so frequently interacting with you, each other, and the environment.... but yeah really loving how the mons interact with each other...
Yeah, that's another one of the things I like about the game. It isn't like ACNH where a villager is one of eight presetsI just got it to rain and freed Onix and unlocked the beach area. I like how different the game is from every other Pokémon spin off and how each Pokemon has their own personality and likes and dislikes.
And you actually get rewarded for helping NPCs and giving them gifts. At least it makes more sense as to why some of them ask for things that are physically impossible for them to do.Yeah, that's another one of the things I like about the game. I just called myself the nickname I always give to a Ditto in every game Xerox. It just felt natural since it’s implied in the opening that there was a human that used to be with you. I do like how the game is set in a world seemingly without any humans in it similar to the Mystery Dungeon universe but you don’t need to go into dangerous dungeons and caves to figure out why you are now a Pokémon and no annoying Kecleon attacking you viciously because you either accidentally step off of the rug while holding an item or you thought you dropped said item.Just got it today to try with my nephew! I have such mixed feelings. It's really hard to put down, it doesn't feel grind-y, the Pokemon just hangin' out are adorable... but I reserve judgement till tomorrow. Most noteworthy is that I couldn't get myself to name the ditto player after myself -- the thing is just so off-putting. I named it Sprout.
