I know I'm in the minority but I'm actually really excited for Mega Babaracle as it's one of my favourite Pokemon. Different to regional forms I think Megas should definitely be for Pokemon that need a buff/something to make people want to use them and I don't think Babaracle gets the love it deserves.
I just read all the descriptions and a lot of them sound very cool, can't wait to see the designs.

I like Barbaracle too and I also think it deserves a Mega. I think its new Rock/Fighting typing will give it some use. The only Mega I am unsure about is Mega Eternal Flower Floette. What about Florges? EF Floette gets a Mega but Florges doesnt just because its a special event mon? Seems unfair. Anyway that made me confused. Hopefully, they added more Megas or improved the designs of some of the leaked Megas for the final product. Many have to remember that the leaked list of Megas were found in an early copy of the game so maybe what we get in the actual game is different.

Edit: That being said, I also thought Greninja was booty when it got leaked, and I was wrong once I saw the 3d model properly
Too many fan arts of Mega Flygon so now its eternally cursed to never get one. You can also add Milotic to that list.
I actually liked Greninja even when it was leaked. I thought Binacle and Hawlucha were weird though.
Apparently the Mega that I mentioned earlier ended up being fake. I am still worried about the quality of the Megas though. They had plenty of time since Gen 6 to draw good Megas. Who cares if some fan art is similar? Give us the Megas we want! I am really hoping that more are released in a potential DLC.

Well, I’m going to make a preorder within the next couple of months. I typically preorder all of the main title Pokémon games a month or two before release.
The pokemon Direct had a tiny bit more shown of Pokemon Z-A
Not too much, but it did show that we can change our hairstyles, clothing - though hardly showing what the male can choose, while they displayed a lot of cooler clothing for female players. :/ Hopefully there's more for male.
Though, now I am trying to decide should I instead choose the female player, as I noticed the rival sticks around a lot, and I still perfer Urbain, even though I picked a fav name for my male character player.
We also got a new mega evluotion!
We only see one, but I can't imagine they would only make one new mega. Actually don't mind the look of the new mega.

Mega Dragonite is...bad. Like very bad. I've seen fanart that is 100× better than the official product that we got. I like the Mable and Emma redesigns but I just don't know if this game is worthy or meaningful to me at this point.

I think it's mostly fine but it should be blue. Maybe the shiny could be blue

I'm interested in the game though it seems like you are secluded to only the city that this game takes place in? I kind of wish we could explore outside the city as well. I've never been to obsessed with the mega-evolution forms or whatever of the Pokemon but I do agree that hte dragonite looks a little weird but it may grow on me.

Overall, I'm neutral about Mega Dragonite. I do like that it has a few characteristics from Dragonair, like the pearl on its tail and the wings on its head. Dragonair is able to expand the wings on its head, as shown in the anime:
Mega Dragonite has been getting a ton of hate. I personally don't see what's wrong with the design. I think some people just set their expectations too high by looking at too much fan art. You can catch 'em all, but you can't please 'em all. Dragonite is a derpy dragon design to begin with. It's not like it would go from dopey-looking to ferocious-looking. If people want a mean, angry Dragonite, look no further than Iris's Dragonite, lol
Also, Mega Slowbro. It's just Slowbro but with 90% more Shellder. That's as simple of a design as a mega Pokémon can possibly get. Compared to that, Mega Dragonite is not THAT bad, especially considering Mega Sharpedo, Mega Garchomp, Mega Abomasnow and Mega Aggron exist. Those are absolute stinkers in terms of design, imo

I think it looks awesome! It's mask and gold chest plate design reminds me of a mix of Ultimo Dragon, a Japanese wrestler, and the Power Rangers.

I'm really happy to see Hawlucha get a mega evolution! I prefer it when Pokémon who don't evolve or aren't competitive get megas, so this was a nice surprise to see. I used one for a bit in S/V for fun, and now I wanna use it again.
