But why would they put something in OR/AS that could still help them sell copies of X/Y?

True, but for some reason GF has often assumed that people just have two systems available to them. Like the distribution of the shiny beasts, for which you needed two DS systems to transfer them from HG/SS or whatever to B/W.

My message about the stones being a reason for people to buy X/Y was kind of a joke, but I wouldn't put it past them. And if people end up needing help transferring their stones from X/Y to OR/AS I wouldn't mind helping them. I don't have that problem since I have an XL and 2DS, but I can imagine how annoying it is for others.

If we have to transfer our mega stones from x/y, I'm gonna be ticked because I'll have to wait until the New 3DS comes out and I have no idea when that's gonna happen.

Hoping they will at least match the amounts of megas they had in x/y, we're only a few off

Most probably, you can just trade them over from XY.

It's difficult. Especially when hundreds of hours of breeding goes down the pot with your save.

Do you really think Gamefreak would be stupid enough to leave them in the demo? :x

GameFreak's been shown to be utterly incompetent as developers since as far back as Red and Green, so 100% yes.

Of course, but it was aimed at the complaints about Pokemon Bank not being able to transfer items. And it's all speculation from my side, so it's not 100% certain that the X/Y stones won't be available in OR/AS. It's just that it's not the first time GF has decided people need two systems to get everything into one game.
