Pokémon Pokemon General

Not doing a spoiler. Anyone who comes into this thread should be prepared to be spoiled.

What is the replacement battle facility then?

Yeah because there is a spoiler warning in the title and everything~ uvu

Wartortle? Can we get Gen I starters in game or did they trade from Pokemon bank?
You should be more happy with
X/Y Mega stones being readily available in OR/AS

As for other things:
May as weather girl is cute
Why no more PokeMiles
Neat mural, bro

!!!!!!!!! Good because I destroyed my X copy lmao... surprised Nintendo didn't leave them out so that people would buy XY for the extra mega stones. I've seen pics of Alakazamite. Aggronite and Mawlite
Yeah X/Y post game was atrocious. I guess if there's no BF DLC, all we will be doing is catching legends we already have and the Delta thing. Atleast we'll get to rematch gym leaders though, I love that.
IGN said there's a lot of post-game content so that's promising

The old people drowned. #RIP ):

NONONONO WHAT THE HELL NINTENDO WHY TAKE THEM OUT NO NO NO NO WTF

IGN gave the originals 9.5/10

Whatever reviews are dumb

Red and Blue got a perfect ten, FRLG didn't.

Lol so mean, but so true.

A brand new patch has been released for Pok?mon Bank. This patch is required to go online and thus use the software and includes the brand new data and compatibility for Friday's release of Pok?mon Omega Ruby and Pok?mon Alpha Sapphire, but no official patch notes have been added as yet. This patch is 210 blocks to download and is currently available on the Global eShop. You can download it through the eShop or through the Pok?mon Bank software itself

IGN is secretly Team Magma. Why else would they complain about there being too much water?

http://uk.ign.com/articles/2014/11/18/pokemon-alpha-sapphire-and-omega-ruby-review
IGN literally gave it a 7.8 while saying that the two negatives are too much water and too many HMs... Seriously? At least they gave the post-game a positive (without going into detail) I'm holding out for the battle frontier since I've never actually got to Emerald's Battle Frontier.

Cry more Hoenn babies!! Honestly reviews are 1) subjective and 2) just because the original got X score doesn't mean the remake will get the same score. We've had hundreds of new games since then, so revisiting a tale already told is bound to be boring to some. AND THERE IS TOO MUCH WATER GET OVER IT, jesus christ how am I supposed to train Torkoal after Lilycove.

Nintendo Australia uploaded this trailer not too long ago. Austraila usually uploads things later than everyone else, but I don't think I've seen this before, sorry if it has

Anyway, it doesn't show off anything new, just some areas, contests etc..

You do know Sinnoh still sucks right

Italian IGN gave ORAS a spin, at least this review is logical.
One of the translations I could find:
"9 Excellent
Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire are two great games and have everything you could want from a remake: something old, something new and something unheard of, all well blended in an adventure that ultimately is most successful of the already excellent X and Y.
+ The best of Ruby and Sapphire and the best of X and Y
+ New features of the touch screen
+ A decent level of difficulty + New mega evolutions and adventures
- No more clothing customization
- To create a decent team it takes too long"
Also, Source if you want it.

Has it been confirmed that the upcoming Eon Ticket can be passed through Mixing Records like in the original RSE, if that feature is even returning? I hope it is so that I can pass my Japanese Eon Ticket to other people more easily... Got my fingers crossed about the competition, hopefully tomorrow will be my lucky day! (If not I'm getting the December CoroCoro for the code)

If I read things correctly, mixing records is not returning but is instead replaced by StreetPass. In X/Y StreetPassing people would just net you PokeMiles, in this game you'll be getting people's Super Secret Bases and any events that can be passed on this way.

I doubt the events are region-locked, meaning that even if somebody got the Japanese event originally, they can pass it on to a European player.

That makes sense, though I was hoping the eon ticket could be spread via WiFi through Mixing Records. (I should have guessed though since Secret Bases are exchanged through Streetpass now) At least if I'm not one of those 15 winners I can Streetpass the ticket over to my EU games :)

The reviews that criticise 'no clothing customisations' sorta annoys me
like it's a remake of a game that didn't have it
and it was explained that X/Y had clothing customisation because of the fashion of France which is evident by the 'stylish points' in Lumiose city
ya kanto still best enjoy your unimaginative pokemon designs nerds

voltorb was a PILE OF SLUDGE
grimer was a pokeball
pikachu was a dinosaur with an onion on its back
bulbasaurs an electric rat(chet ass hoe)

jus sayin kanto is not all that original....

You seem to have gotten a bit confused.

Always and forever.

Kanto is meh, Johto is superior!

Really can't see them trying region lock a feature meant to connect people. It would be an awfully stupid move on their part.

People were spoiled with being able to slightly make their character theirs and are incredibly disappointed that it's not returning because "Kalos people like fashion! Hoenn people live off the land!". Honestly I'm 50/50 on customization. It was a nice feature, but the implementation was awful. Guys got the short end of the stick design wise while girls got decent things to wear and varied customization.

What
