Plot resetting

I've never had an issue with it before, but I wanted Penelope and I scanned her in, and she keeps moving exactly where Inkwell was :c
Is she going to have to be there? It's literally the worst spot. :'c

yes i know the pattern trick but i couldn't lay my whole town out in patterns please don't bring it up

I'm actually in the process of trying to get Drake (scanned) to move in exactly where Klaus was, so my problem is the opposite way around. I hear a lot that scanned villagers will move right on top of the old villagers spot, but this is like my 25th attempt with no luck. So I'm guessing the whole thing is completely luck based.

As long as you definitely have other 3x3 spaces free on the map, it should just be a matter of time and luck.

Yeah I've got some 3x3 spots down for where I want villagers, I just didn't fill in my entire town. Hopefully Penelope moves soon ; o;
