Plot Resetting question...

I finally got to plot reset a villager. I was suppose to get Henry, but when I reset my game, Peewee became the new villager. I'm so confused.. Does this happen to everyone? Or is it because I let the game choose a random person???

How many villagers did you have before they came? They should move in 2 days after one moves in. So If you had eight then he will move in after Peewee.

Maybe you went to another town which probably had a voided Peewee, and you got the voided Peewee. Must be why.

Peewee could be from someone else's void, or from wi-fi trades/streetpass.
So....did you invite Henry from another player's town?

Since Peewee already moved in when you have 8, then he's the 9th villager.
You can still invite Henry as the 10th villager if the 'previous' Henry did not show up in a few days.

ETA: Assuming Peewee (or any surprise move-in, for that matter) is from someone's void because of wi-fi trade or visits, next time you have any open slots, best to shift to 'lockdown mode' : turn off all streetpass, refrain from any trades, and no one visits you, and you do not go anywhere except to adopt your desired villager. That way you save yourself any risk of any random surprised unwelcomed move-in.

So, if Peewee 'cancelled out' Henry, then Henry never actually move into OP's town.
They should be able to try inviting Henry again.
