I've been plot resetting for a few hours yesterday, took a break to sleep, and I'm back at it again.

As I was cycling out villagers in my town, Wulas, Whitney showed up in my campsite! Ironic, because I had just given up on campsite resetting and started up my mayor file. Lucky! :blush:

But Whitney is being super stubborn. The closest I've gotten her was one space too far to the right (twice), and then one space too far to the left and three spaces too far back (once). Otherwise, she just refuses to plop down in my residential area. And I can't build anymore PWPs, because I maxed them out at 30 ; - ; And I even used two more extra characters' houses to block moving in certain locations!

Oh, Whitney. Why do you do this to me? Hopefully she'll get her house where I want it this time around. We'll see.

I just hope I won't have this much trouble with the next dream villagers I get from my campsite haha

And once again, Whitney tries to be one spot too far to the right -_-

Whitney, you will be the death of me. It's been hours. Come on, now.

I know your pain. When I got Stitches, he kept placing his home 1 space off. Just keep at it, she will eventually move into the correct spot.:)

Slowly but surely, I'm making progress haha she's been plotting in that general spot a lot more often, so hopefully sometime soon ^^; patience really is a virtue... //sigh

How do you plot/campesite reset? It sounds handy

Instead of starting up a new day (past 6 AM on any given day) with your mayor file, you start up with a new save file. This way, Isabelle doesn't load up your town and have it set in stone. By starting a new save file each time, you can decide where a villager places their home when they're moving in, or in the case of the campsite, you can change who is in the campsite on any given day. It's a bit harder with the campsite, though, because you're not always guaranteed someone in your campsite. There are days were you can get several tents in a row, or no campers at all. It's all based on luck.

I've been having the struggle of a lifetime with Whitney ^^; she's so stubborn, she just refuses to move where I want her to.

wow, i'm not that picky when it comes to plot resetting. as long as they don't set themselves on top of the path or in a crazy spot, i'm ok with it. i was plot resetting for celia the other day and i had a spot picked out for her, but she nicely placed her house in a different spot that wasn't too annoying, so i just saved her in that spot.

i guess if the spot you have for her is ultra special then it'll be worth it when she's finally there, but if i were you i would have settled.

I have to get her where I wanted her because one space too far would mean I'd have to kick some other villager out and away from the rest. They'd have to be isolated from the others. Along with that, it'll also mess up my 3 houses per acre, which I can't have more than 3 per 16 x 16 units. So, unfortunately, as much as I'd love to give up and have her somewhere else, I need her where I mapped out her spot to be ^^;

HRNGGGGGG I have been plot resetting for ages and Midge REFUSES to put her home on the island where all of my other villagers are.

It's ok, you can do it!!! Whitney took me like 12 hours (around that much time) but she FINALLY put her house where I wanted it!! DON'T GIVE UP!! I was in the worst mood ever, I felt so bummed, but that feeling of success when you finally get them where you want... It's worth it! I'm rooting for you!

I didn't know about the plot resetting trick before so I had to make do with wherever my dreamies plopped. Thankfully, they were in decent places. x) I've only done plot resetting with Fang, and though he didn't move where I wanted him to be, I let him stay in a spot that wasn't that bad.
Good luck with everyone plot resetting! :]
