When I was plot resetting Bob, it took like a week to finish before I was even satisfied with his spot.

But I just finished plot resetting Fuchsia after the third try...

I think preparation is key, so just set up a lot of PWPs and it's going to be worth the bells and time.

exactly how many bells would you estimate that costing? I need to know bbecause I'd like to try it...

I don't know the exact cost, but it's basically setting up like 30 fountains which is 99800 per construction, and then around 9k for demolition for when you're done plot resetting. Since i plot reset multiple villagers, it's worth my money, which is a lot. i can't say exactly how much but yeaaaah. xD around 30 projects should do the trick. a long with spacing it out to minimize how many projects

I've heard that the Fence is the most cost effective for the size. 5x4, costing 49,800 bells each. I personally use the Flowerbed (2x2, 26,400 bells) because it's less obtrusive and I'm slooowww at getting villagers in to plot reset.

Also, I usually just put alt character houses on PWPs I don't need for instant demolition. xD; Free, too.

you can only use one flowerbed, so it's not as useful as it's being made to be. it's 5x3 btw x)

i also use alt character homes to use as obstacles C:.

So is the fence or fountain better?

I tink that's about 3 million which is pretty affordable :D YAY (so much time traveling to do...) and maybe I should have started landscaping after I did this T_T

I placed a lot of racks of rice all over my town when I plot reset, they're cheap and work fine if placed strategically. Alt character houses are also a great idea. One trick to demolish PWPs without paying: just build an alt character house over it when you don't need them anymore. :)

use both. the fence is bigger but can only used once so use that in a biiiig open space. then use fountains because they're 3x3. c:

ooh, i see. the thing is, there's a limit of 30, so if you use more smaller ones, instead of using less bigger ones, you'll run out of projects that you can do and might be left with a lot of space.

and i didn't think of that last trick! O: cool. (x

Using fences is the best option I think, but they can be ugly and make your town look much more cluttered.

I by the way don't use PWPs to block certain areas, I just plot reset with what I have.

wow, that's hardcore, dude. i have a specific plan/layout for my town so I wouldn't be satisfied with just plot resetting with 0 assistance. it would take too long x___x

Ooh does anyone have links to plot reset towns? I looked at Flyffel's town Glade and it was really nice with a straight line. Satisfied my OCD haha

Confused at what you mean by having only one flowerbed? I have like, 26 of them in my town. o:

OH. I MEANT FENCE. sorry sorry. they're both used to flowers so i mixed it up xD sorry hehe

Fair enough. xD

And good to know about the fence. o: I don't like them much, so I've never bothered with trying to build one (or multiple). People do praise it up and down on the forum, though.

Today, I plot-resetted Skye's house, and I got her house in a good spot on the 3rd try! It is aligned with Fang's house, and there is room for Freya between them.
