PLOT RESETTING HELP???

i havent played acnl in a long while ok

can you go visit another persons town to ask their villager to move into your town while you currently have a villagers plot down..? like they havent moved in yet.. just the rope and the sign that shows where their house is going to be. will they be willing to move in or not until the house of the villager already in the process of moving in is built?

also say i time travel to the next day so their house is built n theyre in boxes will someone try to move in that same day?

depends on how many people you have in your town. if you have ten (including the plot home), no they won't move in. if you have nine or less, yes they'll move in, the day after you'll see their plot in your town, even if someone is in boxes.
