Plot Reset Question

if I need to plot reset for several days am I able to alter the time backwards or does that count as loading a save? cuz I like tt'd forward a day to 5:58am and since I havent saved after 6am the day doesn't count and I can rewind like when someone holds a villager right?

also if I see a plot on the starting screen and tap continue will the plot still be in that spot or elsewhere?

I'm not sure I understood the first question but as for the second one, if there's a plot on your loading screen and you haven't loaded an existing character yet on that day, the plot you see on the loading screen won't stay there when you tap continue/new save file. Your town hasn't saved for the day so the plot isn't bound to appear where you saw it. It can be wherever when you access your town as a character.
