Well... I've come quite a long ways. I got all my dreamies after a year of cycling, I found paths I love, and I have recently started full-time landscaping. I would love it if some people could visit my dream town and give suggestions? I have a few areas I need help with since I can only do one more PWP after the ones I have planned.

My town is a supposed to be a forest with a few modern/zen/rustic touches. Hopefully that should help with the theme?

DA is: 5700-5184-3021

See spoiler below for details on my town.

Sooooo thanks for dreaming of Oxford! Here are some things you should know before dreaming.

1. The plots of pebbles/gravel are planned areas. I'm planning on putting a picnic bench on the plot nearest to the train station, and I plan on demolishing Jinchou's house and putting a new character on the plot near the town hall when I get to it.

2. My beach is a storage dump rn, don't visit.

3. There will be areas with random flowers and digging spots, those are areas I have no idea what to do with. I am thinking of making a hedge maze thing around where Jinchou's house is now in that large area.

4. Mochi's house is under construction. I plan on making it a tea house, so if you have furniture suggestions that would be great.

5. I have left presents for you on the left of the plaza. c:

Please feel free to give suggestions or comments through PM or this thread. c:

I dreamed of your town and posted a pic on my Dream Album thread. Have you dreamed of my town yet?

I just dreamed of your town and *Jaw drop* its one beautiful town you got there! You really put your effort into it, you nailed it!

And the way you decorated your town made it feel like your town was HUGE! I tried my best on making my town as beautiful as it can get and its still feels small, I blame the river layout! But I wouldn't mind if you could review my town either, see how I managed to make it beautiful with such a small town.

I also took pics:

This outfit is awesome! I think I like it. :D

These 3 pictures says it all.

Your town is coming along nicely! Even though it's still a work in progress, I had a lot of fun exploring your town. I especially liked what you've done with your plaza, it's really cute. I hope my following comments are helpful in some way.

I don't know why, but I really liked this part of the train station. I think it's the flower boxes welcoming travellers to the town.

I like how the bridge leads to this fountain plaza, and how the topiaries act like a doorway to this new area.

I've spent most of my life in an area where at least a few houses are lost to seasonal wildfires every year... So seeing your roses so close to the bonfire made me uncomfortable, as if they were going to catch an ember any moment.

You mentioned your town's theme was "modern forest". From what I recall, the most modern aspects of your town are your buildings, bridges, the illuminated arch leading to the mayor's residence, and one lone modern streetlight near The Roost. The rest of your town was dominated by lovely brick paths, older looking red setts with bits of grass growing between the stones, and paths of large stone and clover. In the brick areas with channels, you had wooden bridge paths (like around your town tree), as opposed to grating that might better complement the brick pavement. Also, the bamboo forest area had more streetlights than the rest of your town. So your town felt somewhat unbalanced or mixed up. I think you should consider constructing more modern streetlights in the modern areas, or otherwise replacing one or more of the modern bridges with brick or wooden ones, to match either the brick pavement or wooden bridge paths respectively. I felt bad about getting hot spring water onto your delicate lilies so I picked them up before getting into the hot spring. If it isn't meant for bathing you can ignore this lol.

I enjoyed strolling through your town, and I look forward to visiting it as it grows :)

Thank you for visiting! I'm glad you enjoyed it. :)

About the bonfire, I really want to find a log/outdoor chair qr code to put on the ground near it and I do plan on removing the nearby flowers.

I understand about the streetlight issue... I was thinking that myself, yet those lights are temporary until one of my crankies asks for a zen garden. c: the streetlight is going to move, and hopefully I will be able to put more up, but I'm very close to the PWP limit so I'm trying to reserve the spots for things I have planned.

Lol yeah I need to fix that... planning on putting a single path of the stepping stones and clovers to it.

Once again, thank you for your comments!

I'll go in a few. I just updated my DA today, so feel free to visit. :) 5400-3515-8043

Looks good so far! I was very impressed by the room with the campus set. I've never seen it until now!

I just visited. It's nice. A little chaotic at times, but don't take that personally if you're going for a woodsy nature feel cause I'm just OCD about order as you'll probably see with my town, it's just a preference of mine. Here are a few things I noticed while visiting in particular I didn't go in the houses, but I typically just let people do what they what with those, but as far as landscaping and paths here's what I got:

Right off the bat I didn't particularly care for the flower things in your plaza. Just not those specific ones with the paths, I don't think the colors coordinate well. There's tons of flower options out there though I'm sure you could find ones that are better or you may leave them out all together, nothing wrong with just a plain path.

I liked this little area though. I like the fountain/topiary combo

I have Marshal in my town too. :) But I digress.
Overall you're town isn't bad it gives me more of a zen vibe than a modern one though. I can tell you've put a lot of work into it. :) Good luck!
