Playing with more than one copy & 3DS, anyone?

So I happen to have 3 copies of the game (though I only play two actively), and I have two 3DSes. Naturally I use this to my benefit, with item trading and such. I've been spending the last few hours visiting one town repeatedly to get the train station upgrade. It's tedious, but faster than waiting ages for 100 visitors otherwise.

Any of you do things like this?

I do! My husband doesn't play ACNL anymore, so I use his 3DS for my second town. Just last night I was visiting one town to get a petition signed. I'd never have the patience to earn the train station upgrade like that, though.

Im just like you xD I have 3 copies (1 my main town, another I was making a winter themed town, and my third was my cycling town)

I've been doing other things while doing the work for the upgrade so it's not too bad. I only have to actually look at the screen for a few seconds each time.

I also have 3 copies but only actively play on 2. Still trying to decide what I want my 3rd town to be. I use my daughter's 3DS to go between town to town. Like right now I'm exchanging Katie between the 2 in hopes of getting the toy camera.

That's what I did when I tried to upgrade my train station lol plus I used to do some sort of a cycling town to givepeople their dreamies and hybrid flowers for free.

So I started at 33 visits around 9:30pm, it's now 1:24am and I have one left to go. I've officially spent 4 hours visiting my own town 77 times in a row.

I have both a digital/physical copy and I used to transfer things between the two, but now my physical copy is pretty stacked and I don't need to do it anymore. (Plus I gave my other 3DS to a friend so there's that too)

Yep, did the same thing to get train station upgrade. My fourth town I don't play, instead I use it to pilfer perfect peaches for my other towns.

I have two towns (seriously considering a third) and two DSs.

I now have four towns and three 3DSes. Plus I've taken over my hubby's two towns, so I have all the native fruits and all that jazz.

i've got 3 copies, 1 3DS, and 1 2DS

i use one town to cycle in order to get my dream villagers for the other two towns, but once that's complete, i'm gonnahave 3 themed towns up and running c:

I've actually been doing this all week cause I have two 3DS systems (one original and one new) and 5 towns, two of which I just started recently, so I've been trading items a lot this week. I'll eventually be sitting and doing what you did and sending one character to one of my towns to get the train station upgrade.
