Playing Gamecube Animal Crossing Daily

Hey everyone ! I just found out about this forum, and wanted to ask it, how many of you are playing an Animal Crossing game everyday right now, specifically the original Gamecube version. Some might say this is the most boring version to play everyday due to its simplicity and lack of interesting features the later games added, but I really like the charm and vibes of the 2001 (or 2002 ? ) original. Granted my current playthrough has only been going on a few days now, but I've had towns in this game I played on regularly for a couple months.

I'm gonna try to play on this save file every day for like a year ! I think I could become a bellionaire.....
Collecting every KK song and getting every cool outfit are my long term goals but I also want to make a lot in the stalk market, I mean how else does one become a bellionaire. So yeah, as I'm writing this it's Aug 31 at 11pm, so Nook's is closed and it's a raffle day so I couldn't get a lot done today ! I wrote a letter to my villager Bertha because she asked me too, and found my money rock, glowing money spot and got some items from villagers but couldn't buy anthing from Nook's. Also yesterday was KK's first concert at my town and I got his song Two Days Ago, but I sold my radio so I have no way to play it right now, it's just sitting on my cabin table. I also have a cabin chair right next to the cabin table !!

So yeah I just wanted to make a forum post like this just to keep the Animal Crossing Gamecube community alive. If you want leave a reply on this thread talking about anything relating to this awesome game !

Watching this thread! Unfortunately not a lot of GC players here (Animal Crossing Community has more old school years) and I haven't touched any of my towns in a while, but I think about going back to them. I have e+ and + and I was playing them up until a couple of years ago.

Anyways, will be watching this thread!

It's been about a week of playing Gamecube daily ! It's been fun but pretty much every day you run out of things to do but talk to your villagers and enjoy the ambience. Still, I want to keep going on this town until this time next year. This game, and really this series is about the little minute things that make you miss it when you're not playing it. Also I didn't know villagers could write things like this on the bulletin board?

I don't play daily, but I have been playing a lot lately. Early September is the best time to make money by ocean fishing (since there are no sea bass out right now), so I've been taking advantage of that the last few days to make some bells.

i still play daily since early this year - i love my town bug city !!!! gamecube has a perfect atmosphere .. day to day things just feel nice..

I don't play daily, but I have been playing a lot lately. Early September is the best time to make money by ocean fishing (since there are no sea bass out right now), so I've been taking advantage of that the last few days to make some bells.

The annoying thing is even though I've been in this town for probably 10 days now, Nook is yet to sell a fishing rod. This is really driving me crazy and it gets worse every time I go in there in the morning and it's just a shovel and net.
Also yoo jvgs! I definitely recognize your name hahaha, I've watched a ton of your videos ! Could you answer these for me as an ACGN expert: What are the best bugs to catch this time of year? Or did I already miss them since summer is basically over. I've mainly been finding crickets and they sell for like nothing. Also, for when I get my rod: I definitely remember the Red Snapper sells for like 3,000 bells, but is that a river or ocean fish?

That's cool that you've been keeping it up for that long! I make a new town sometimes and tell myself I'll play on it daily for the rest of my life but it ends up lasting a month or two. Still I always make great memories of playing this cozy game.
Yeah, the vibes of the music and graphics, I would describe this game as maybe a little more dingy, or lo fi than the later games in the series.
Like the 11pm song in this game would never be in New Horizions.

So hopefully we both keep playing this awesome game for a while ! Also I thought'd it be cool to do the whole Nook Codes thing so people on this forum can send things to eachother .
Drop your villager and town name and I'll try to send you some cool clothes or maybe a KK song you don't have!

Oh yeah, that can be so annoying in the early days of your town. Hopefully you'll find one soon, though.

Unfortunately, I think the best ones are all gone once September starts. You can still catch bees though, of course.

Yes, it's an ocean fish. If you avoid the acre at the mouth of the river (since you may catch salmon there), all you'll see in the ocean are red snappers (3k), barred knifejaws (5k), and if it's raining, coelacanths (15k). With a 3,000 bell minimum per fish, you can rack up some serious bells pretty quickly.

I've never done it before, but from what I've seen, go talk to Tom Nook and ask him to hear a code. He'll ask for the Town Name and Character Name of who you want to send it to, then he will generate a code that you can share on the forum, then the other player goes to Nook and gives him that code, so it's kind of like actually sending items to each other !!

The thing is I think it's case sensitive, so be sure to pay attention to the capitals when sharing ur town name and chararacter. So I made this test code assuming the P in Pin and the B and C in Bug City are capital. I tried sending you a cool shirt so give this code to Tom Nook and see if it works !
