Playground or no playground?

I have a small one because I think the playground gym and springy rides are cute. I also had a small empty space so I figured might as well. It really only has a playground gym, one springy ride, and one sandbox though. Kind of an empty park because I already have some other small spaces as parks.

I don't think I'll put one since my theme isn't really urban but we'll see along the way lol

i have a small playground/park

its has things like the phone booth, sandbox, iron bench, elephant slide, springy ride-ones, and a gym!

I don't have a playground. I figuered that there are no children on my island, so why would I need it? If I had a female kangaroo I might put some of that stuff in her yard, but since that's not the case, no playground for me :giggle:
Funny you mention that, I have Astrid and her house literally is a playground. No yard assembly required, lol!

Anyway I have one currently but it mainly exists for the 5-star rating and doesn't quite fit what I want to do with my island. I'd rather use the space for something else tbh. Like the pool that's just shoved into a corner with no fanfare atm. I need to sell or trade out my pastel teacup ride too that's also just sitting there

There isn't much in the way of theming anything and the Nook items are ugly apart from a select few, and it's hard not to look like every other island, so I'm not putting one in.

I'll wait in hopes of old furniure to make a return, so I can have a theme that isn't a zen bamboo farmer.

I have two playgrounds but they're not like, full blown, typical playgrounds. I put them there to connect big areas or they were built to support them like this amusement area with music/band playing near my outdoor cafe.
