I don't think this makes a difference at all. If you don't want the visitor dialog you shouldn't let people come over, it doesn't matter if they talk to the villagers.
But I don't mind, there's so many repetitive dialog, so it's something else to add to the mix. And it eventually fades away. It's not worth it not letting people see your island because of that
It doesn’t matter if they interact with them or not. If someone drops something and leaves after 30 seconds, all my villagers won’t shut up about user123 from deeznutsisle.
Yeah but the thing is, talking to them does not influence the dialog. A villager of yours may talk about anyone that stepped foot in your island, even for 30 seconds just to trade. But definitely not for months. For me it's not that I mind them talking about recent visitors, I just didn't want to let people talk to them if months later they would still be asking me about those visitors. If they don't then it's fine.
Wait aw why does that make me sadThanks to anyone who said they'll forget eventually even if they meet the visitors! That was my doubt.
Ike mentioned you already from yesterday btw. He said it was really cool I had someone from your island who cared enough to "hang out" and that he didn't have anyone from there who did that. We need play dates in this game now!
Is that a Mariah Carey reference?
