Planes leave trails in the sky!

I'm sorry if this has already been mentioned, but haven't seen anything about it yet. When my friend left my town I noticed her plane left a trail across my sky! What a cool little detail!

I saw those earlier in the night sky and I had no idea what they were, I thought it was part of the galaxy for some reason. What a cool detail!
