They've just finished an adult happy meal promotion here featuring the cast of Friends. I managed to collect half.

I think I'd be a bit embarrassed.

But I've two cats with human names (Luca and Sebastian) who I refer to as my sons so that makes it easier to commit to the bit.

I'm so going to have to try this.

I remember it working when I was a kid. My mum and her late best friend Helen would take us kids out for happy meals. We didn't get McDonalds often as we lived in a rural town, but for one specific promotion based on Poo-Chi robot toys we were obsessed. Our mums were able to negotiate toys we didn't have already.

(I just looked this promotion up and the estimate is 2000-2002, wow. I feel old.)

I kind of want a hot pocket. Maybe next time I go on a market run I'll pick up a box. Pepperoni is the only one I like. I tried ham and cheese once and it was no bueno.
