This makes me sad. A dime is basically worthless today, I know, but did you at least look at the year? Maybe it was old, and made of silver before coins went with cheap materials.

I don't blame you though, I just feel sad for wasted coins. They are a part of history, and will probably go the way of the dodo.

I guess I fantasize about where each coin has been in its lifetime. So many pockets and exchanges... only to be swept up into trash 😔

I remember one time my pastor said that The Simpsons went to church every Sunday, and I was like…I don’t know about that. Yeah, they were at church sometimes, but there was that time Homer was listening to a football game on the radio and Bart gave the wrong song to the choir. Not really the best example lol.
 
I feel the worst for Mario in Super Mario Sunshine. All he wanted was a vacation. I also feel bad for him in Galaxy 1 and Paper Mario 64. In both games he gets blasted and falls to his doom.

And I feel the worst for Skyward Sword Link. All the hell he goes through, everything he does... It's all to reunite with Zelda, his closest friend and love interest. And when they DO reunite, he's told the harsh truth and watches her go into crystal hibernation :cry:

I’m not sure if there will be a TBT Fair or a Camp TBT this year. Since it’s an even-numbered year, and since the community gotten smaller, it would make more sense to have a TBT Fair this year than another team event. But the last summer event we had on this site was also a TBT Fair. But then again, as I got older, I learned that “turns” are no longer guaranteed.

Personally, I would prefer another TBT Fair this year. I have lost all interest into participating in team events on this site, and I had more positive memories from past TBT Fairs.

I feel like binge watching Friends. Luckily I have the complete series box set.

I watched a bunch of clips from the show on YouTube and it triggered my binge watching urge.
 
It’s interesting that when you get started on a collection, you are like at the bottom of the ladder at the start. But as you get closer to completion, you’re at the top of the ladder. For instance, when I first worked on my mask collection for BIONICLE, it looked like a sad and pitiful mask collection since there were so few. But now it’s almost complete.
 
I am currently in reset purgatory in Animal Crossing: City Folk. I installed the Deluxe mod last year and one of the most notable things about it is that the modder added villagers that were not in the regular version of City Folk. This includes GC/E+-exclusives, New Leaf debutants, and New Horizons debutants. Furthermore, you can get starting villagers that you couldn't get in the vanilla game (e.g. Simon, Marina, Kitt, Mathilda, etc.).

So, here I am, experimenting with resets and seeing who all I can get as starting villagers while trying to reset for one of my favorite villagers. ^_^

I also found an awesome Wild World town earlier today--Got Apollo as a starter. Unfortunately, my 3DS finally gave out last year, so now I am getting used to playing WW and NL on my computer. I already was playing GC and CF on my computer quite a bit in 2024.
 
Tomorrow I am going to wear my flat cap in public for the first time. The problem is, I dont know what else to wear with it!

It wouldn't normally be a big deal, but my parents are taking me to lunch for my birthday in a restaurant that has converted a 1950's Boeing Tanker (BIG plane). I am a sucker for history, so I cant wait!

But, what to wear? 😆 I normally dont care what I wear, but this seems like a special occasion
 
People call me a pessimist. They think I'm worrying too much, but they are dead wrong! I'm rather way too much in la-la land.
I always think it will be easy, it will be quick, I did it once it will be the same. Nenni. I should be on my toes all the time!
