Thinking about how my grandma had to go to her grandpa’s FIFTH wedding as a teenager. I mean, at what point do you stop going to one person’s multiple weddings? (Fifth wedding was the last, thankfully.)

Fun fact: When I talk about cockroaches, 98% of the time, I call them “roaches”. 1% of the time, I call them “cockroaches”. The other 1% of the time, I call them “ticklers” (since a roach crawling on someone actually tickles). My Glow City Idea even prefers using the word “roach” (you battle robotic roaches called “cyber roaches”, which represent really bad computer glitches).

You still don’t want any roaches.

i was reminded today that i have a cricut machine. it’s just been casually sitting in my room, i pass it every day but i forgot i even owned this thing. i think i’ve only used it a few times within the three years that i’ve had it.

I really wish I could go to sleep instantly and wake up at any time I want without oversleeping, even with setting up 20+ alarms. Maybe I need to pick a day to stay up or sleep super early and adjust my time in increments while resisting the urge to doze off...

You know, I may complain about how hot winter is getting, then a couple days later, a blizzard blows through. The lesson is, be careful what you wish for.

Texas has been hit by many tornadoes, hurricanes, floods, droughts, wildfires, and derechos. Which one hit Texas the hardest? The 2021 winter storm, of course, and it’s not one of these aforementioned destructive weathers.

I’m not ready for another winter storm in Texas.
