December flew byyy wow 😂 and it snowed a total of two times so I'm happy. I love it when it snows but HATE all the yucky wet slush afterward, lol

New year is just around the corner. I'll be celebrating the Earth completing yet another yearly trip around the sun. Meanwhile, we accomplish NOTHING haha
 
In my family we have a tradition of getting Chinese food on Christmas Eve. It was a fun time this evening! But, I have to say, I received possibly the dumbest "fortune" cookie ever.

ChatGPT is rightfully controversial for many things, but damn is it useful for coding on Neopets. And I assume coding in general, but I just need help making my Neopets userlookup look pretty. But it having a "personality" is so annoying, like why does it "yass queen" me for figuring something out it was too stupid to tell me. Honestly I understand the people being annoyed by Connor in Detroit Become Human now.
 
One thing I would have liked to know:

I wonder if all men Zonai had droopy-woopy goat ears like Rauru or if that was just a specific design choice for him. And I wonder if all women Zonai had upright bunny bun ears like Mineru or if that was just part of her unique design, too.

What I'm saying is: I would have really liked to see other Zonai people, not just two of them. Some little Zonai goat and bunny children would have been cute, too.

Also Merry belated X-mas lol
 
i got a cat recently, and to be honest, even though ive done a lot of research on cats and even hung out with cats (seeing my half-sister's cat who passed away unfortunately and volunteering at the shelter) before i got my own cat, i still dont really understand them. why do they sleep so much? why do they like to chew cardboard? and why does my cat always try to eat my dog's food??????? it is truly a mystery to me.

anyways, here she is, looking all adorable. she is very tiny, actually. she only weighs about 6 pounds!

1. they are nocturnal (correction: they aren't diurnal but they're not nocturnal either) so maybe that's part of it!
2. I suspect they like the way their sharp teeth feels when sinking into cardboard!
3. dog food must taste good to them!

of course these are all guesses. but thats such a cute kitty!!!

I learned recently that cats don't technically "sleep" for 16 hours (REM sleep, at least), moreso they're resting but still aware of their surroundings. From what I read, cats have multiple hour-long sleeping sessions throughout the day as opposed to one big nap. Can't believe I didn't know until now!

Even then, cats are very strange. XD
