I can't believe that I'm almost done with this light novel and on my way to buy the 6th one. I have bought the '.5' version, but I decided to make those (side stories) digital and the main story paperbacks.

I’m fascinated to learn that there is a Flemish Nativity painting from the 16th century that possibly depicts an angel and shepherd with Down Syndrome.

It was common for artists to depict members of the family who commissioned the piece, so I wonder if the angel and shepherd represented some children in the family.

That's the worst. I was on vacation last year near a beach and someone around midnight or a little after kept driving their truck around playing music at like max volume. I didn't really get any sleep that night. I hope you can get some sleep soon

I'm happy to say I fell asleep just fine (now if only I can train my brain to stop waking up randomly at like 4am, lol)

I even had dreams, so that's how I know I actually did sleep. Because sometimes it just feels like I'm lying there with my eyes closed.

When I used to live in the Bronx, there were always people in their cars playing music at max volume, even at night.... Ugh but at least here things are peaceful and quiet. Except the neighborhood dogs sometimes, lol

Bought the expansion pack for Animal Crossing months ago thinking maybe I'd try it sometime. I never got around to it. Finally went to download it and flipped the card over to scratch the code. There's no code!!!

Waste of twenty five bucks. Right when the new update finally made me curious to want to play the expansion lol

Aw that stinks! When you say you bought the card, was the code already redeemed? I just looked it up and its on the receipt. Do you know where you purchased it? You might be able to talk to someone and if you used a credit card they can look it up. Considering it's a one time code it's not like you can scam them. Sorry that happened!

I bought a game last year and when I inserted it in the Switch I was hit with dread as I saw some NBA game pop up on the homepage. Someone peeled off the official sticker, applied it on the 'wrong game' and returned it. And randomly yesterday I wound up on some Facebook post where someone had the same thing happen and it was the same game. I'm guessing it's one of the Switch's cheaper titles and it's a known scam.

I just looked up Dragonite’s mega evolution in Pokemon ZA. I can’t help but think of Sengoku in One Piece with the seagull on his head lol. Not sure how I feel about its design yet and if this is a good or bad thing lol.

The Wizard of Oz was on Turner Classic Movies last night. All I could think of was how my great-grandma was 31 when it came out. She used to go to the movies a lot back then, so she probably saw it. I mean…it must have been mind-blowing back then!

Mmm.... Oreo cookies dunked in milk for breakfast I can never eat Oreos without milk.

I drop them in a glass of milk and eat them one at a time. I leave them there for at least a minute before scooping them up with a spoon. I like them somewhat mushy, lol

I took a risk and bought a preowned game from Amazon. It was from the actual Amazon supplier so it wasn't 3rd party. It was either that or spend full price which was I think $60+ and also had a much better delivery time. When it came and I plugged it into my Switch, on the homepage (even before selecting the game) it popped up as NBA something. So I knew right away I was scammed. Amazon probably didn't know. What happened is they either bought it without testing or someone returned the game and scammed Amazon and kept the real copy but returned the case and all the other stuff.

I was able to get a full refund, but I had to call them beforehand because I figured if I just sent it back asking for a refund they would test it and think I did it. It was a pain, but money is money. I didn't think anything of it, but seeing someone recently with a video showing the same 'scam' using the same game was too much of a coincidence lol.

Sorry that happened though! You could probably still get someone to pull it up if you tried. I don't think those cards are necessarily cheap so I know I would at least try. But I get it if you don't want to since it takes time and can be a huge hassle.
