I found out that there is a manga centered on asexuality, I want it! I hope I can get it someday. I saw only the spine of it at Barnes and Noble, I thought it was a self-help book at first glance.

I didn't think I'd relate to manga so hard until I found it.

I thought of a cosplay crossover that seems so perfect to be combined that I’m surprised no one else has thought of it yet. My cosplay mashup character is Jem from Jem and the Holograms being merged with Pink Diamond from Steven Universe. Their color palette are virtually the same and Jem’s outfits do seem like something PD would wear. I actually found artwork of a dress that Jem wore in the cartoon that has sheer fabric shoulder pieces and sheer bits sticking out from the hips that is extremely similar to Pink’s own outfit. Jem literally being a Gem just makes so much sense.
 
Random, but Halloween related~
Over the many years, I have always wanted to decorate the outside of my house for Halloween, but not really being able to, because decortions usually mean that we would have sweets to give out.
Which is also another thing I have always wanted to do, be able to give the kids sweets on Halloween, but with living upstairs that being impossible. And also our doorbell spooks our cats so I don't want to stress them out either.

Its a shame cause I always have ideas on what to decorate the outside of where I live, and it would just get more annoying doing up and down many stairs to get to the front door :/
Hopefully one day me and my mum can move elsewhere, where its a bungalow or something, and I'll get the chance to show off my scary ideas and have kids have more fun from a halloween night.

I'm watching these for research purposes and I already hate it here.
Context, I'm writing about a character (early high schooler) who has a crush on another. But they're too shy and rely on channels like this to help them out.

My god, if I had a kid. I'll make sure these types of channels are blocked. 😭

The playlist isn't mine, it was the first thing to pop up in the tab.
 
Sometimes I wish I were short and blonde— but then I realize, that’s the opposite of me. (Tall and brunette.) We all want the opposite of what we have, even if it’s all we know. I don’t really understand it. I can accuse the world of a lot of things, but never of being boring.

Recently, I had two short stories published. I can’t believe one was, though.

This spring, I submitted a story to a fantasy anthology, but afterwards, I regretted it. I was worried it wasn’t “fantasy enough”, since there weren’t elves or witches, etc. As a writer, I’m used to rejection, but I thought I was wasting the editors’ time. It wasn’t a major worry, but a constant little pinch at the back of my mind.

When I got the acceptance email, I was surprised, but also excited. When I got the anthology, it felt surreal— my words were in the pages of a book!

I’m not saying this to brag, but to remind you that sometimes the things we dismiss as failures become our proudest moments.
 
I watched a video saying I will learn how to solve a Rubik's Cube in ten minutes...

Days later and watching the video a ridiculous amount of times, mostly in rewind to rewatch...

I have solved my Rubik's Cube! And not just once, but almost ten times without help from the video!

I'm super excited knowing how to do this, even though my left thumb hurts after so much practice 😆

I never thought I would complete the cube!

I think I must have watched the same video when I learnt to solve a Rubik's cube, because I remember it also said "10 minutes" (and I also rewound and replayed it many times)! 😁 I'm happy for you; it's a very fun and neat trick!

You probably did see the same video, it was a very helpful one!

It really is a nice party trick! But more importantly for me personally, its a wonderful fidgety thing while I am sitting around with nothing to do!
 
it’s been six years and i still don’t have the fortune telling shop in my new leaf town. probably because i used to time travel quite a bit and whenever i do play now, i never play early enough.
