I forgot that I quoted you recently because you were talking about chess. I didnt post the first time, but it saved your quote. Then, I quoted you a second time, and I realized, I really need to respond to you!

I am no expert, like your brother, but I played a lot as a kid and was fairly decent. I beat the parents of the kids I beat in local library tourneys. That's not saying much, but I do enjoy chess!

Would you care to play? And how would we do so online? Bonus, I wouldn't ever EVER cheat, even if I knew how too 😆

Let me know if you would like to start up a friendly chess match!

Bro eggs are so weird. Like I could go from obsessed with them and craving them every minute of the day to not wanting to eat them and being repulsed by the thought of them for months.

I have always loved eggs, but a previous vegan girlfriend made me feel the same way by saying I was eating "chicken periods". 😫

I do still eat eggs, but I wish I never dated her (not because she was vegan, but because she put images in my head 😅)

have you ever had a moment where you actually hear a line of a song where you thought you heard something different? .... (i felt i knew how it was sung.. but i wasn't sure... until just now)

for me, it was, until just now (yesterday(20/12/24 at 9:21 PM)... the song ''just begun'' from the slayers anime with the line ''Tada katsu tame ni '' ... i thought she was singing ''tatakau'' tame ni 😅 ahhhhhh!! 😲 :rolleyes: but... i think i should've thought about hearing harder 😅 my world got turned upside down... 🤷‍♂️

Although I'm currently having a bit of frustration regarding time controls. I'm a very slow player but it seems people are more active on games with quicker time settings.

I dropped 200 points from my max rating (1100) after swapping to 15 minute games. So, I'm kinda flustered right now.

You can throw me a message on here and we can set something up, although it might not be today (or even this week tbh).
 
When I was little, my dad’s friend gave us a movie called “Jack Frost”. Back then, I didn’t understand the story and thought it was just about a snowman come to life. It was actually about the main character dying and being resurrected as a snowman. (darker than I thought) The more you know…!
 
I know I have a few more days still, but I just feel busy with holiday prepping and tired. Hopefully I can find some snowflakes if I don't get around to another event. I am 11 snowflakes away from 25 after all. ☃️

Not for the money or fame. If anything, in my opinion.. that's already setting yourself up for failure if you're thinking like that.

Yes, we (all) need money to make a living on this crazy planet. But unfortunately, that's not how real life works.
 
I had to lock my cat’s advent calendar in my bathroom because Jewels keeps knocking it down 😅; I can’t trust her. I don’t trust her ever since she chewed through this plastic bag to get these treats once.

Jobs are for money. You're writing because it's a hobby and something you love. If you turned writing into a job it would probably lose that passion that you have for it. I love gardening and growing stuff. People always pushed me to sell my stuff because I'd make money. It's just not worth it. I do it because I love it not because I want money.

I feel like at least in America people are so obsessed and a little sick? because corporate America pushes this agenda that your whole life should revolve around your career as your self worth. And that's just not my thing. People always bragging about how many hours they're overworked or how they go into work super sick. No thanks.

There's this YouTuber whose accent I really like, so I can't help but watch his content just to listen to him. His commentary is good, too.

When he pronounced papaya as "Papa-yah" instead of "Pah-pah-yah" I laughed because it was so cute, lol
