i want a laptop soo bad... my mom moved my pc to the living room and my dad always uses it so now it just doesnt feel like mine anymore. plus laptops are so fun to put stickers on i love doing that to my school laptops

I was going to say! I looked it up right after learning it was a thing and all the cards, tiles, and little extra stuff I saw that came with the board made it seem like it wasn't just something you can do at a leisurely pace. It looks like a really cute and fun board (and concept for me) but it also seems way too complicated for a game when you're in the mood.

I swear it took us at least a half hour to set up the game, not counting popping all the pieces out of their cardboard containments and organizing those pieces. The rules too seem pretty complicated. Luckily this game is co-op though so we can work through the rules together! Hoping to actually play the game later today haha

RIGHT?? I was surprised that the wizard wasn't made romanceable. Clint may be annoying at times but he's way over-hated, he deserves a redemption arc!!
 
^ this Stardew Valley talk has got me thinking, maybe I should make a new Stardew Valley save.. I have one from like 5+ years ago I put 100s of hours into, but I heard you should make a new save to properly experience the updates. I've never gotten around to it because the beginning of the game is such a drag every time I try to and I just end up going back to my old one but then there's nothing for me to do😅
 
I don't know a single person around my age who "has their **** together," even the ones whom I thought were "ahead" of me. It really comes to show that I'm not alone. When it comes to adulting, everything is a learning process which could take years to improve, so being 22 years old myself, I've come to realize that just about everyone who's over 30 has made at least one stupid decision when they were in their 20s.
 
I keep seeing videos of people being weird after they had their wisdom teeth removed, it's not something I see in my area, I don't personally know anybody who had general anesthesia or sedation, just local anesthesia, with the numb mouth. Is it something common elsewhere?
 
The thing I love about Sailor Moon as a protagonist is that, even though she's clumsy, goofy, a crybaby, a big eater and sucks at school, when it comes to her friends and fighting for what's right, she ALWAYS locks in.

Some people need to get general anesthesia for wisdom tooth removal.. I'm supposed to be put under at a hospital to have all 4 of mine removed because they're coming in at weird angles and close to nerves, and at risk of impaction (as far as I understand it). Apparently local anesthesia just isn't enough for that

I keep procrastinating having the procedure done though 🙃

It's really rare where I live, but that would be the main reason. It's just for special cases and done at the hospital mainly.

They usually don't do 4 at the same time but I know someone who had the 4 teeth removed and the anesthesia wore off before the end of the procedure. She suffered quite a bit. They usually give more shots when it happens, I got 3 shots the last time, but in her case they had already gave her several shots and were already pulling the problematic tooth (the dentist even had a leg on the chair). Poor her.

after being a member of this forum for over 14 years, I've finally decided to change my username. it's something I've been pondering for quite a while, and I did it! my old username, I feel, represents the old me. I'm a much different person than I was a year ago, 2025 really changed me. but I think it's for the best, and I want my username to reflect that. 💜 besides, I'm a bug and I want people to know hehehe 🪲
 
what’s the point of region locking a console? i don’t get it because why wouldn’t players buy games in a language they can understand from their region anyway? seems like a pointless preventative measure to me.

EDIT: found out it’s for marketing and legal purposes which makes sense.

Depends on how extensive of surgery is needed to remove the wisdom teeth. Without getting tmi sometimes the wisdom teeth are in a place where it requires extra surgery to remove them. I had to get all of mine out because of the same reasons as Milly. I wasn't put under but I was numbed. At one point it felt like the dentist was on top of me trying to extract my tooth in like over the top cartoon fashion 😅
