Pizza toppings

I've been watching food videos on youtube again. Normally it's random people criticizing "professional" chefs like Jamie Oliver for putting mango chutney in Butter Chicken, and no butter.

Today I have focused on pizza, while eating mediocre deli chicken and steamed veggies for dinner again. Two videos stood out to me. One about a fancy pizza from the renaissance that was just a buttery dough, topped with rose water and sugar. The second, I'm not sure I can post here due to swearing in it. I guess I'll find out. He highlights pizza from around the world we would consider odd, in the U.S. I don't believe mayonnaise is meant to be put in an oven.

What do you prefer?

Pepperoni, tomatoes, and mushrooms— not necessarily on the same slice. I also like basil and garlic.

I'm pretty basic, I just like pepperoni and italian sausage. sometimes other kinds of meats I don't mind either. i don't like vegetables on pizza though and especially not pineapples

I love pizza except whenever pineapples are put on it. I find that disgusting and some things should not be mixed together and eaten. Tomatoes and pineapples need to stay away from each other!

My go to is pepperoni but every once in a while I'll do pepperoni, sausage, and thin slices of tomato and i dip it in hot sauce.

Some of my favourite pizza topping combinations would be:

>pineapple and pepperoni - one of my absolute favourites

>pepperoni and corn (sometimes cumin on sprinkled on top)
>pizza margherita
>peppers and corn
>aubergine, pesto, and pineapple
>pineapple
>barbecue sauce base and chicken
>corn on its own
>corn and pineapple
>peppers, corn, and pineapple

Pineapple on pizza might hypothetically be a favourite of mine, but it's not like there's any evidence of that being true

Haha I've never actually seen anyone else outside my family have it on pizza either! It's definitely an uncommon topping, but I think it's really good

Okay but. Objectively, you're brother is correct frfr mushrooms are pretty good tbf, but for me I'd usually just eat them on their own.

The sauces I'd dip/put on my pizza would be garlic mayo or soy sauce (I've been told the latter is diabolical, but I swear on my life it's delicious)
