-Penelope Cruz is playing Blackbeard's daughter, Sparrow's love interest
-There are going to be mermaids in the movie
-Rob Marshall is directing
-One of the main characters is going to be a missionary named Philip
-Filming will start in May/June this year
-Movie is slated to come out on May 20, 2011 (about a year away)
-Plot will have Sparrow and Barbossa searching for the fountain of youth
-Movie will be based on the book of the same name
-Plot will be simpler than 2 & 3 (more like Curse of the Black Pearl)
-Mick Jagger is rumored to be in the movie


Anyway, this movie likes it's going to beyond amazing. It sounds like it might almost be as good as the first one, if not better.
And...it comes out on my birthday! I CAN'T wait.

I'm pretty excited for this actually, gone are the boring Will Elizabeth characters, yet Jack and Barbossa (the two best ones) are gonna be doing pirate hijinx. Let's hope this movie will have what made the first movie awesome.

Also it's set on mah home turf of Florida. 8D
